THE MISSION: Total Body Wellness Education

Wellness is about so much more than just what you eat and how you exercise, it's about ALL of your daily habits! What you drink, how you think, your quality of sleep, hormone imbalances, exercise, recovery, relationships and stress management are all very important pieces to your unique wellness puzzle.

Mind-Body Connection
​
I believe that teaching my clients how to connect with their bodies via symptom sourcing, controllable-item troubleshooting, and objective evaluation while learning the fundamentals of healthy nutrition is the key to long-term wellness. We must first understand the 'why' behind our ailments, concerns, and outcomes in order to truly address issues at the source.

My programs* have individually tailored mindset coaching and deep-dives surrounding the client's struggles. You must address your mindset and "fill the gaps" here before you will be successful in anything else. Alternative energy healing like Reiki is available for clients who are ready to connect on a spiritual level.

The Hormone Connection
Our bodies are made of complex hormonal/chemical connections. Each program is designed to give you fundamental knowledge surrounding these connections, whether the client is male or female. My area of expertise is mainly in women's health, and as women, we are vastly different than men in terms of our daily needs, hormones, emotions etc. Women should not be following guidelines designed for men and vice versa. Each woman is unique, and so are her needs!

Fundamentals of Nutrition
There are a lot of numbers surrounding nutrition that can be overwhelming and intimidating without the right educational approach and support.
Teaching clients to balance their macronutrients (protein, fat and carb) within their daily calorie targets while being mindful of important micronutrients such as sodium and sugar, understanding different food ingredients and how they impact their health, and how their daily habits effect their wellness provides a much deeper educational experience and value to my services rather than providing a cookie-cutter generic meal plan that tells you WHAT foods to eat.

No Cookie-Cutter Programs: You Are NOT A Sugar Cookie!
When you follow a cookie-cutter diet, it may seem like exactly what you need to "eliminate the stress" of planning a meal, until you reach about Week 2 of eating the same meals over and over again, hating the foods you're eating, and learning nothing from the process other than how to create unhealthy food relationships. This is not a healthy quality of life and it certainly does not benefit your wellness. Learning the fundamentals of nutrition does NOT have to be complicated, it just requires an open mind and consistent effort!

What you can sustain long-term you can maintain for life, and that is exactly what I strive for in working with each of my clients!

This is why I create personalized and detailed Macro-Based Nutrition and Wellness Programs that are unique to individual needs.

THE PROCESS
The process may vary depending on your needs. Not everyone is comfortable with a comprehensive lifestyle program, and that's OKAY! We can start where you're comfortable!

THE INTAKE
Each process starts with an in-depth Lifestyle Assessment conducted via electronic form. After I review your entries, I will contact you via e-mail or text to discuss them or we can schedule a 10-minute phone or Zoom/Video Conference. You will be providing important and detailed information about your daily habits from sleeping, nutrition, exercise, work, stress management, and so-on, in addition to any past or current medical history and medications. I will carefully evaluate your areas of concern and your goals to help us determine our next steps together in optimizing your wellness.

THE PLAN: Macros to Stress Management & Beyond
From the information gathered during the assessment process, we will discuss our plan for working together so that your needs may be adequately met and a plan will be prepared for you. Depending on the option chosen, your materials will be then e-mailed to you (for study on your own plans) or loaded into an organized and secured private Google Drive for those who are embarking on a lifestyle changing curriculum with me. Your plan can be as simple as following a macro-based nutrition plan on your own with a set follow up date, weekly accountability support, or a more intensive curriculum customized to your needs.

THE PROGRAMS
Each program is tailored to the needs of the individual client. Most of them involve nutrition guidance, fitness recommendations (or referrals to work with a professional in the area), and mindset training. There are Hybrid Wellness Program options available, which will address nutrient deficiencies, intolerance, and gut imbalances using a Whole Foods Nutrition approach!

Specific Food Meal Plans and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans are not provided. Specific Food Meal plans tell you what foods to eat and when to treat a specific medical condition or disease. MNT plans are written meal plans for medical weight management or treating disease. While you will be given food recommendations, principles and guidelines, it is not a prescribed meal plan that tells you exactly what to eat for each meal to treat disease, disorder or a condition.
If you are looking for MNT or specific food meal plans, please consult your insurance for a Registered Dietitian in your area.

THE SUPPORT
I offer various levels of support to meet the unique needs of each client. Support can be as simple as checking in daily, weekly, around the clock (concierge) or once a month!
Each program includes Concierge level support (about 3 billable hours per week on top of nutrition planning) or Standard Support (about 30-minutes of billable time) unless otherwise indicated. This means you will have the ability to communicate with me when you need support 18 hours a day 7 days a week (as well as 24-hour on call for emergencies) for a truly supported lifestyle transformation experience.
